Here is a lovely engraved chromolithograph gleaned from William Chapman Hewitson's 1846 Victorian ornithology volume and featuring the lovely pastel eggs of -
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, In case you are wondering, "scoters" are stocky seaducks in the genus Melanitta.
The heavy engraved paper is blank on its reverse, measures 5.25" x 8.375" (13.3x21.3 cm), and shows little tanning as its original text paper is included. I will include the three 2-sided informational text papers with your purchase. All papers are clear and smooth and none of the papers have any crease, fold, mark, or tear.
The papers are clean, clear, and bright and the coloring is bright, crisp, and shabby-sweet. The eggs are presented as a timeless image to frame and gift for your favorite bird watcher or perhaps you will use in your art - perfect for card and tag creations, scrap-book page making, jewelry creations, collage, decoupage.
You are purchasing three original 1846 papers and they do not have watermarks. I will send these to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
