Here are seventeen flower varieties splash across a gorgeous Victorian chromolithograph, gleaned from W. J. Gordon's 1891 natural history reference on the flowers of England and how to identify them.
All 17 are numbered but the identifying key has gone missing - this will be a real challenge for the botanically inclined. A little 'Floral Test' for you, courtesy of Le Petit Poulailler's House of Useless Knowledge.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 5.25" x 7.5" (13x19 cm), and shows only light tanning to betray its 115+ years The paper is clean, without tears, folds, or creases. A beautiful study to frame, perfect for card and tag creations, scrap-book page making, collage.
You are purchasing an original 1891 chromolithograph and it does not have watermarks. I'll send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
