From a 'Details Idees Couture' folio, here is a beautiful pochoir print from their 1949 annual publication of upcoming fashions. The spiral bound book, numbered 21 in a limited edition of 1,000, is a wonderful illustrated folio collection of over 500 couture creations from 1949 Paris - pochoir prints, each hand-colored and arranged on by garment type, style and color.
This is a wonderful post-World War II - late 1940's fashion time-machine for designers and artists alike. Here are 7 separate studies of various sleeve styles - lovely couture designs presented in bold lines and shades of cornflower blue, creamy white, and crisp black. Parisian fashion in the 40's - perfect!
Will you frame this? This would be wonderful in a sewing studio or your dressing room ... or perhaps the fashions will find its way into your art? The paper is heavy and blank on its reverse, measures 9.25" x 12.25" (24x31), and shows a gentle tanning. The paper is clean and smooth with no folds, creases, marks, or tears.
You are purchasing an original 1949 pochoir print and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
