From Victorian England, a hand colored engraving gleaned from Edward Lloyd's 1897 natural history entomology reference and featuring four beautiful African moths -
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 4.75" x 7.125 (12x18 cm), and shows little tanning since the protective tissue cover remains attached. The paper is clean and without creases, folds, marks, or tears.
The engraving is bold and strong, the colors are color rich, vivid, and bright. This will be a gorgeous engraving to frame and gift to the collector you love. Perhaps you'll keep as a perfect addition to your at-the-ready ephemera supply
Use in your art - ideal for your card and tag creations or your scrap book page making; for jewelry creations, collage, and collage.
You are purchasing an original 1897 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st class mail.
