Product Description
Gorgeous hand-painted skirt stylings on a hand-painted pochoir print, gleaned from Paul Louis de Giafferri's 1925 magnificent folio work, 'History of Feminine Costume from 1037-1870' - perfect for your studio, your art. Hand-painted on card and blank on its reverse, this print is scrumptious, featuring 11 hand-colored illustrations of 'Jupes', or Skirts, from the era of France's King Louis XIV, 1643-1715.
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 10.75" x 14.625" (27x37 cm), and shows gentle edge tanning. With bright and lovely colors, the papers are clean and smooth and each has a French text key at the paper's bottom. There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks. A gorgeous fashion plate to frame, a wonderful addition to your art's paper supplies. Wonderful for card and tag creations, collage, scrap-book page making.
You are purchasing an original 1925 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
