With a garland of flowers in her hair and a tasseled bag on her hip, 'Ophelia' is a young woman a century or two before her time! From an 1876 Victorian art journal, this is a steel engraving of Jean Baptiste Bertrand's portrait of sweet 'Ophelia'.
Printed on card, blank on its reverse, and top-tipped in gold, the measurements are 9.625" x 12.5" (24x32 cm). The protective tissue remains attached and little tanning is seen. A lovely study to frame, fantastic to use in your art - card and tag creations, scrap-book page making, collage.
You are purchasing an original 1876 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
