From Alexander Marshal, 4 lovely botanical illustrations, on two papers in 2000 from a re-printing of his 17th century English masterpiece, 'Florilegium'.
Marshal painted only as a pastime and, as a gentleman, his vocation was horticulture and entomology. His art and 'Florilegium' were meant as a pleasure for him and his family. He created hundreds of paintings over a span of 30+ years, with the majority of them completed during the 1650's.
And they are so lovely. The heavy, 2-sided papers each measures 6" x 7.5" (15x19 cm), are smooth and clear, and there are no marks, creases, folds, or tears.
These are sumptuous images to frame - for your entryway, your bath ... or perhaps as backgrounds for your art? ... the works are classically beautiful.
You are purchasing -2- original 2000 papers and they do not have watermarks. I will send these to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
