Here is a beautifully vivid and wonderfully detailed Edwardian botanical chromolithograph gleaned from a 1903 British natural history reference on ferns along with an identification paper featuring -
Brittle Bladder Fern
Mountain Bladder Fern
Now, before you laugh at their unfortunate names, wort ferns are extremely carefree plants, are always very green, and never beg for food or water. Indoors, Wort Fern compares extremely well with any plant that is on the "Ultra Hard to Kill" or the "Super Easy to Grow" list of houseplants.
Also included is the identification plate. Each heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 4.5" x 7" (11x18 cm), and shows a gentle tanning. There are no tears, marks, folds, and creases. This is a handsome image to frame, card and tag creations, scrap-book page making, collage.
You are purchasing two original 1903 papers and they do not have watermarks. I will send these to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
