Here is a beautiful 1919 illustration from George MacDonald's 1871 classic novel, "At the Back of the North Wind" - the story of a little boy, Diamond, and his bittersweet relationship with the North Wind.
The colors remain bright and vibrant, the lithography is strong and clear and the colors are lovely and deep. The illustration is captioned -
'Are you ill, dear North Wind?'
The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, is top tipped in gold, and measures 7" x 9.375" (17.8x23.8 cm). Very little tanning is seen, the lithography is strong and clear, and the paper is smooth and clear. The corners are sharp and there are no marks, creases, folds, or tears.
A gorgeous print to frame for your new reader's room, a gift for the new mother for the nursery, perfect for tag and card creations, scrap-book page making, collage.
You are purchasing an original 1919 paper and it does not have watermarks. I will send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS First Class mail.
